The pool area fell short on cleanliness, which detracted from my overall experience. Noise from adjacent rooms was also a concern during my stay.

Comfy stay with awesome staff

Just wrapped up 4 nights here. The room was super comfy and clean, and Jennifer made sure it stayed that way. Todd and Amy at the front desk are total gems! I loved the breakfast options, especially the omelet. Only hiccup was the wifi being spotty at times, which was a bummer. Overall, a solid pick for a business trip.

i had a wonderful stay, enjoying the easy access to nearby parks like heritage hill historical park just a short walk away, and tasty meals at places like new shanghai restaurant within close distance, making it perfect for my weekend city strolls.

we had a fantastic stay at holiday inn express & suites, lake forest. the breakfast was simply amazing, with freshly cooked omelets and a variety of options. the location is super convenient, close to the toll road, making it easy to explore most of orange county. also, the staff really made our trip special, especially a kind man who treated my boys with extra care. kudos to the whole team!

Spent a couple of nights here while my kids participated in a basketball tournament nearby. The welcoming staff made all the difference, especially the man who worked the front desk during breakfast. He was incredibly kind and attentive to my boys. The breakfast was a standout with a variety of options, including delicious, freshly made items. The room was comfortable and served us well during our stay.

Exploring Lake Forest led me to some tasty spots! The fried goodies at Wienerschnitzel were a guilty pleasure, while New Shanghai Restaurant served up some mouthwatering dishes. Plus, the check-in was a breeze with a staff member going the extra mile to make my room shine. Can't forget Todd's breakfast game—top-notch service every morning!

The only minor hiccup was the ice machine being stuck on the first floor, making it a mini trek for those chilly refills. Would be cooler if there were a few more in the mix!

Having Starbucks right in the parking lot was a nice touch. I appreciated the late check-out the staff offered. However, the hot water was unreliable. it took forever to get warm water in the shower. The lighting in the room was also quite poor, making it tough to see well. Still, the front desk was always available and helpful, which I really liked.
